Finally, a completely automatic tool that measures the depth of blast holes.  If there's water or mud in the hole, the X5 will measure the depth of that too.

The X5 is able to work as a data logger or you can mount it on an explosives delivery truck and get data to modify loading at the hole.  The X5 can be integrated to any explosives delivery control system.  It can also measure the final depth to the top of the explosives column.  All without operator assistance.

VEHICLE MOUNTED SYSTEM

The X5 is a motorised system that runs a line down the hole with a smart weight and float.  With a combination of novel sensors, processing and algorithms, the system reliably captures measurements in environments where lasers, radar and other technologies simply don't measure up.

FLEXIBLE, POWERFUL AND SAFE

Only requiring 24V power from the vehicle, the X5 has a measurement head (shown in the image) which can be mounted on an explosives delivery auger or any other convenient vehicle mount.
